Parker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sweet Child o Mine. Diego Godin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Parker seems to be looking for submissions.
Parker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Godin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Godin pushes Parker off and gets back to his feet.
Parker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Godin is trying to defend but Parker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Godin wants to control but Parker is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Godin regains full guard. Nicely done.
Godin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parker defends well.

Godin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Godin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parker pulls his head out easily.
Parker is trying to control. Godin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Godin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Godin dives on top into guard.
Parker keeping moving, preventing Godin from controlling successfully.
Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Godin is one step ahead there.
Parker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Godin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Godin stands up and waves to Parker to follow him.
Parker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Godin can't do much from the bottom here.
Parker goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Godin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Parker but great work by Godin.
Godin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Parker!
Godin takes Parker's back.
Godin has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Parker is defending well but eventually Godin manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Parker has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
