Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: 50 Cent-Many Men. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Richards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
Richards wants to stand but Smith is controlling his posture from full guard.
Richards gets to his feet. Smith looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Richards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Richards gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richards off to one side.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Richards moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Richards circles away.
Richards blocks a low kick nicely.
A punch combination from Richards misses.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith throws a push kick but Richards slaps the foot to one side.
Smith will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Richards throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Richards fails in his attempt to clinch.
Richards circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Smith throws a leg kick but Richards sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Richards drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith pushes a forearm under Richards's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Richards is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Marcus Smith!
