PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milka CroCow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Kreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CroCow comes to the cage accompanied by Ratatat - Loud Pipes. Kreedy has chosen Can't Stop as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Diesel Kreedy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diesel Kreedy!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CroCow has a takedown stuffed.
No joy there for CroCow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
CroCow avoids the body shot from Kreedy.
Milka CroCow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from CroCow.
Kreedy throws a leg kick which misses CroCow's front leg but catches the back leg as CroCow tries to avoid it.
Kreedy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but CroCow circles away quickly and effectively.
CroCow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kreedy tries to avoid it but CroCow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kreedy to the ground. Kreedy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
CroCow tries to land a leg kick but Kreedy saw it coming and moves away.
A punch lands to the side of CroCow 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Kreedy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
CroCow takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

CroCow can't do much from the bottom here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kreedy is nestled in close to CroCow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kreedy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
CroCow has hold of Kreedy's hands but Kreedy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
CroCow is staying active underneath Kreedy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

CroCow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kreedy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
CroCow is trying to keep Kreedy in close.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kreedy pushes down on CroCow's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diesel Kreedy dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Kreedy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
CroCow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kreedy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kreedy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kreedy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kreedy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Milka CroCow has been cut.

Kreedy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have CroCow in real trouble here! The ref calls for CroCow to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
