The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardy is fending him off so far but Hill persists. Nope, Hardy circles away and we're back to standing.
Hardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardy closes the distance and clinches.
Hardy manages to break the clinch.
Hill takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hardy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hardy thumps Hill with a low kick.
Hill throws a hook but Hardy avoids it easily.
Good leg kick by Hardy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardy throws a series of punches but Hill avoids them all with ease.
Hill walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hardy.
Hardy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hardy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hill looks winded!
A left lands for Hardy.
Nice takedown defense from Hardy. No joy for Hill on that attempt.
Will Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Hill.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardy lands a nice looking body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hardy.
Hill takes one to the chin there.
Hill takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hardy lands a jab.
It looks like Owen Hill has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hill misses with a takedown attempt - Hardy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hardy throws a monster overhand right that drops Hill! Hardy follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
