The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai leaves Send with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Thai gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Thai is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
A knee to the head by Thai.
Thai taking a breather.
Thai misses with a knee strike.
Thai manages to break the clinch.
Thai tries to clinch
and Send counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thai wants to clinch.
Thai moves into the clinch.
Thai misses with a knee to the head.
Thai stalling the fight.
Thai gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Thai is looking to take a break and control but Send is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thai thows a huge punch but Send dodges it nicely.
Thai stands up out of the half guard.
Thai has taken the fight to the clinch.
Thai is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Send is trying to pull guard but Thai turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Thai has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Send clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Thai punches the canvas rather than the man.
Send is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thai thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Send is covering up but some of the strikes from Thai are getting through and doing damage.
Thai lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Send.
Send is breathing heavily.
Thai has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Send has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Thai missing with strikes.
Thai lands a massive shot to the side of Send 's head and he's out cold! Thai jumps to his feet and milks the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Muay Thai!
A relieved looking Muay Thai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
