And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pico has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kate.
Kate misses with the body kick
and Pico counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kate's guard now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pico pushes down on Kate's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pico stops Kate from getting back to his feet.
Pico has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kate defend it? Pico steps over the head and cranks it - Kate is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pico!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Marti Pico!
Marti Pico decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
