Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saibot has chosen Mortal Kombat: Noob Saibot Fatalities as his entrance music. Noob Saibot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lamont Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Noob Saibot!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Banner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Banner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saibot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Banner.

Banner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Saibot is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Banner, into his guard.
Saibot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Saibot drops back, looking for a kneebar! Banner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Banner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Banner!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Banner goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Saibot rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Banner's guard! Nice work there by Saibot!

Saibot shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banner sprawls well. Banner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saibot gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Saibot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
