Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hurt - Johnny Cash. Edwards has chosen The Who - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mark Edwards was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belmont scores with a punch to the head.
Belmont scores with a nice strike.
Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
Belmont lands with a cross.
A slow jab from Edwards misses its intended target.
Belmont connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Belmont misses with a looping left.
Belmont misses with a hook. Edwards ducked under it nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Edwards doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Belmont lands with a good body shot.
A head kick misses from Belmont.
Edwards gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Belmont.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Belmont throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Augustus Belmont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belmont misses with a straight left.
Belmont throws a leg kick but Edwards checks it.
A head kick lands from Belmont that sends Edwards to the canvas. Edwards tries to scramble back to his feet but Belmont brings him back down into side control.
Edwards is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Belmont is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Edwards looks calm but he's in trouble here. Belmont gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Edwards is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Belmont lets go of the hold and Edwards can pop his arm back in it's socket.
