PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Bullwinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Racaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Racaza has chosen Spiderbait - Black Betty as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocky Bullwinkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Racaza!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullwinkle fakes the leg kick and cracks Racaza in the body.
Racaza tries a low kick but Bullwinkle avoids it.
Bullwinkle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bullwinkle shoots in but no luck this time.
Racaza connects with a jab.
Bullwinkle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A right-left combo lands from Racaza.
Racaza throws a leg kick but Bullwinkle sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Racaza gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Rocky Bullwinkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Racaza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Racaza wants it to stay on the feet.

Racaza feints a jab promting Bullwinkle to slip. Racaza then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bullwinkle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Some bone on bone action there as Racaza checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Racaza is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bullwinkle lets go of the hold and Racaza can pop his arm back in it's socket.
