Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Olivier Levasseur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Wabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olivier Levasseur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Wabbit! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Levasseur ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wabbit has closed the distance and engaged Levasseur in a clinch.
Levasseur changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wabbit fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roger Wabbit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Levasseur is defended easily by Wabbit. Wabbit loads up on a big right hand but Levasseur slips the punch. Wabbit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Levasseur circles away quickly and effectively. Levasseur shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wabbit counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olivier Levasseur. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Levasseur takes one to the side of the head.
Levasseur with a lazy takedown attempt and Levasseur takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wabbit will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wabbit misses with an uppercut. Levasseur saw that one coming. Levasseur fails with a takedown attempt. Levasseur showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wabbit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Levasseur gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wabbit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wabbit scores with a nice strike. Wabbit misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed right hand from Wabbit misses the target. Wabbit throws a shot from downtown. Levasseur moves away and avoids it. A cross from Wabbit lands. Levasseur keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wabbit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wabbit with a hook. Levasseur with a poor takedown and Wabbit counters by clinching up. Wabbit tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Levasseur's elbow. A head punch on the inside from Wabbit fails to land. Wabbit pushes off an throws an elbow but Levasseur leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Levasseur wants a takedown.
Levasseur is looking to take this one to the mat. Levasseur tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wabbit is trying to trip Levasseur. He has hold of a leg but Levasseur is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wabbit persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Levasseur keeping moving, preventing Wabbit from controlling successfully. Levasseur has his foot on Wabbit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wabbit works his way back into a safe position though. Wabbit postures up in Levasseur's guard and throws a big left but Levasseur blocks it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Levasseur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wabbit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wabbit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Levasseur looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wabbit is one step ahead there. Levasseur has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wabbit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wabbit throws a big elbow that misses. Wabbit trying to control the position from guard on top but Levasseur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wabbit content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roger Wabbit dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wabbit looks to land a right hand but Levasseur moved out of range. Wabbit throws a right and a left that both miss. Sloppy strikes from Wabbit. Those never looked like landing. Levasseur changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wabbit tries to avoid it but Levasseur manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wabbit to the ground. Wabbit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A slow jab from Wabbit misses its intended target. A looping hook to the body misses from Wabbit. Levasseur does a little dance to reset his feet. Wabbit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Levasseur. Wabbit might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Levasseur uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wabbit.

and Levasseur counters with a takedown into side control. Levasseur tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Levasseur sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wabbit is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Levasseur tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Levasseur has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Levasseur swings around for an armbar but Wabbit sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Levasseur's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Levasseur wants to sweep here but Wabbit controlling him for the moment. Levasseur trying to keep a closed guard but Wabbit is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Levasseur escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wabbit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wabbit must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Levasseur throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

A close second round but Roger Wabbit will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Wabbit turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wabbit manages to end up in side control. Levasseur is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wabbit cracks Levasseur with an elbow. That is naaassty. Wabbit is looking to take a break and control but Levasseur is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Levasseur manages to get back to half guard. Levasseur taking some punishment here, with Wabbit in his half guard. Levasseur actively working from the bottom here. Levasseur looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wabbit lands with a punch from half guard. Wabbit lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Levasseur looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wabbit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Levasseur with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wabbit working over Levasseur with some ground and pound. Levasseur looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wabbit is nestled in close to Levasseur, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wabbit trying to control from half guard but Levasseur is working away. Levasseur looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wabbit is working Levasseur over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Levasseur not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wabbit cracks Levasseur with a solid left hand. Roger Wabbit is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Levasseur is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Will he be able to recover?!! Wabbit postures up and lands a big shot to Levasseur's brow. Roger Wabbit has got the better of the ground game so far. Wabbit keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Levasseur's head. Levasseur throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wabbit uses it to pass to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Levasseur manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Ground and pound from Wabbit. Wabbit winds up and cracks Levasseur with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Olivier Levasseur has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Levasseur tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wabbit has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Wabbit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wabbit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
