The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazer has his takedown stuffed
and Sanburg makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mazer clinches up with Sanburg and pushes him back against the cage.
Mazer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sanburg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mazer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sanburg to score with a decent uppercut.
Mazer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanburg's waist but Sanburg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mazer off to one side.
