Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Olafur Ragnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernest David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olafur Ragnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernest David! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David getting the better of the striking in that exchange. David shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ragnar is trying to defend but David finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. David tries to stand and escape but Ragnar is controlling the position. David keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. David is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. David trying to control the pace. Ragnar wants to stand back up but David manages to pass into side control.
David controlling the position. David wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ragnar, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ragnar is trying to improve his position. David throwing strikes but missing, from side control. David content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnar is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. David is trying to get an arm triangle but Ragnar is defending well. Ragnar is pushing David's head away, looking to escape. David manages to hold on to the position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. David thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ragnar is trying to control David's posture but David avoids it. David working the ground and pound. David controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernest David dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
David dives in and scores a takedown into Ragnar's guard. David wants to pass the guard but Ragnar is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ragnar wants to stand up but David is controlling him. David not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ernest David hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. David closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ragnar quickly recovers to half guard. David is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. David wants to pass the guard but Ragnar is defending well. David content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ragnar tries to kick David off but David keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Ernest David has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A lazy left from David finds it's target. David fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ragnar, pushing him back against the cage. David is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. David breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
David throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ragnar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. David is in Ragnar's guard. Ragnar wants to get back to his feet but David is in a dominant position and won't allow it. David is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. David stops Ragnar from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Olafur Ragnar wasn't doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ragnar. David feints and as Ragnar raises his hands in defense, David changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. David must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. David is stalling in the full guard. David distracts Ragnar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernest David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ragnar gets caught napping as David dives in and scores a takedown. Ragnar manages to retain guard. David pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ragnar is keeping the position for now. Ragnar trying to keep a closed guard but David is proving a slippery customer.
Ragnar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as David controls the pace. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ragnar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. David fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ragnar to the ground. David is now in Ragnar's guard. Ragnar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ragnar is trying to keep David in close.
Olafur Ragnar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ragnar gets caught flat footed, as David shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David wants to stand but Ragnar is controlling his posture from full guard. Ragnar is looking to stand up but David isn't so interested in that idea. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. David is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Olafur Ragnar just wasn't active enough. David drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ragnar uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ragnar with a poor takedown and David holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. David gets a trip takedown into half guard. David takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. David looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ernest David hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ragnar fails with a takedown attempt. David has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Excellent takedown into side control there by David. David remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
And that's the end of the fight! Ernest David comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well David has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
