PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Beebe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Beebe!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo has his takedown stuffed
and Beebe counters with a one-two to the body.
Aldo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Aldo has momentary wrist control but Beebe slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Beebe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
