Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Turczycki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Douglas White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Turczycki! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turczycki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Turczycki fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Turczycki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. White is looking to control Turczycki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can White avoid being mounted? White is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Turczycki pulls his head out easily. Turczycki misses with a head shot. White uses the momentum to regain guard. Turczycki prevents White from getting back to his feet. Turczycki looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. White not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. White trying to control but Turczycki is working from the bottom. Turczycki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Turczycki throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! White escapes and throws Turczycki's legs to the side, diving into side control! Turczycki tries to bench press White off him but White keeps the position. White stands up and beckons Turczycki to his feet. Turczycki misses with a takedown and White counters with a single leg into guard. Turczycki didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turczycki keeping full guard, as White tries to pass. White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

White in side control, just content to control the action for now. White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turczycki for as long as he can get away with. White tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no White has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turczycki tries to buck White off but White is having none of it. White content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. White working the ground and pound from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turczycki wants to control but White postures up. This has been an exciting period of action! White landing strikes. White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turczycki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Turczycki trying to remain calm as White controls from the top position. Turczycki is working to avoid the ground and pound but White connects with a decent elbow. White controls the position. Turczycki wants to control but White postures up. Turczycki looks to move to half guard but instead White has passed into mount! Damn! Douglas White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. White is standing up, even though he is in mount. White throws a lazy head kick and Turczycki makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Turczycki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is looking to take this fight into the clinch. White scores a takedown into full mount! Turczycki is breathing heavily. White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Turczycki tries to reverse the position but White maintains control. White has hold of Turczycki's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turczycki manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. White trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Turczycki doesn't escape. Turczycki tries to escape but White has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Turczycki tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! White looking to control and managing it successfully. White wants to finish this one by submission but Turczycki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from White. This has been an exciting period of action! Turczycki sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. White is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turczycki sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. White is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. White wants to free his trapped foot but Turczycki is holding on for dear life with his legs. White gets to his feet - back to striking we go! White takes the fight into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Turczycki uses from the top position. Turczycki stops White from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. Turczycki tries for a takedown but White circles away easily and White counters with a takedown into side control. Turczycki struggling a bit here. White works to advance to full mount. Turczycki defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Turczycki sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ground and pound from White. Turczycki throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action! Turczycki looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Turczycki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Turczycki is in trouble now - White has advanced to mount!

Turczycki is bucking up trying to escape but White cracks him with another couple of good strikes. White controlling from mount. White lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. White looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White lands with some strikes. Turczycki tries to hold on but White pushes him away. Turczycki takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. White cracks Turczycki with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

No luck for Turczycki with that takedown attempt. Douglas White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Turczycki. A punch combination from White misses. Turczycki tries to sprawl but White drives through with a takedown into half guard. White is trying to work for a kimura but Turczycki is defending well.

The ref makes him back up and allows Turczycki to get to his feet. White tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. White motions for Turczycki to come forward. White throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. White tries to clinch up. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turczycki doesn't succeed with the takedown and White counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Turczycki! Robert Turczycki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Douglas White is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Turczycki swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Douglas White showed his dominance in that final round. Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
