Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Varian Wyrnn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Duddy's choice of entrance music: Dropkick Murphys - 'Loyal to No One'. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy tries to move into range but Wyrnn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wyrnn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duddy moves away.
Wyrnn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wyrnn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Duddy.
A jab from Duddy misses.
Wyrnn wants to clinch up but Duddy keeps it at a distance.
Duddy throws an overhand right that lands on Wyrnn's shoulder, as Wyrnn tries to avoid the shot.
Duddy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Duddy thows a left - swing and a miss!
A big right from Duddy misses.
Duddy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Wyrnn doesn't manage to clinch there - Duddy circles away.
Duddy avoids the head kick by Wyrnn.
Wyrnn moves out of range as Duddy throws a body kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duddy, as that shot connected.
Wyrnn slips a jab from Duddy.
Duddy looks to throw the jab but Wyrnn is out of range.
Duddy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Varian Wyrnn has been cut.

Wyrnn has managed to clinch.
A short uppercut from Duddy.
Wyrnn prevents a body shot from Duddy.

Wyrnn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wyrnn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wyrnn needs to keep his hands up - Duddy had a free shot at his head there.
Wyrnn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A head kick misses from Duddy.
A slow jab from Duddy misses its intended target.
Duddy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wyrnn.
Wyrnn thuds his right hand into Duddy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Duddy throws a wild body kick that Wyrnn sees coming a mile off.
Duddy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Duddy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wyrnn lands an overhand right.

Duddy throws a hook but Wyrnn avoids it easily.
Wyrnn misses with a two punch combination.
Duddy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wyrnn takes a step back to recover.
Wyrnn misses with a body shot.
Wyrnn walks into a jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Duddy.
Duddy lands with a cross.

Wyrnn is rocked!
Wyrnn staying out of range there.
Duddy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wyrnn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A good leg kick by Duddy.
Duddy lands a big head kick that sends Wyrnn to the canvas! Duddy follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
