Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chino Treadaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chael Sonnen looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sonnen looks for a takedown but Treadaway sprawls well.

Treadaway closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sonnen's guard.

Sonnen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Treadaway prevents it.

Sonnen is trying to drag Treadaway to the mat but Treadaway just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Treadaway turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Treadaway manages to end up in side control.

Treadaway has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Treadaway closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Treadaway looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Treadaway seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sonnen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Sonnen is trying to trip Treadaway. He has hold of a leg but Treadaway is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sonnen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Treadaway manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sonnen manages to get himself to full guard.
