The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Block darts in and clinches Carragher up against the cage.
Carragher missing with knees to the body.
Carragher throws a knee to the head but misses.

Carragher is fighting off a takedown attempt but Block is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Carragher to the mat. Carragher regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Block tries to free his leg and advance position but Carragher is retaining full guard.
Carragher wants to stand but Block is controlling the position.
Block being controlled here momentarily.
Block trying to control the position from guard on top but Carragher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carragher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Block decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carragher, up you get!

Block breaks the clinch.
Carragher wants to clinch

and Block decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carragher's guard.

Block pushing down on Carragher's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Block prevents Carragher from standing back up.

Carragher is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Block is tapping! Great win for Carragher!
