Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Monsterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enea Vollare Mezzo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsterson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Emelianenko checks the leg kick nicely there.
Emelianenko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Emelianenko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Emelianenko slaps away a takedown attempt from Monsterson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Monsterson looks to land a body kick but Emelianenko moved away.
Monsterson dodges the punch combination from Emelianenko.
Monsterson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Emelianenko.
Monsterson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Monsterson lands a jab to Emelianenko's midsection.
Monsterson tries to work over Emelianenko's front leg with a kick but Emelianenko checks it.
Emelianenko pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Monsterson back to the cage. Emelianenko follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Kalle Monsterson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
