The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Baird has his hands clasped together around Richards's back. He's all about the action.
Richards thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baird's head.

That's time! Baird's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Baird shoots for a takedown but Richards saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Baird has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Richards has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
