Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Miike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Map Gostos A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gostos A has chosen Ratamahatta - Sepultura as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gostos A. Those never looked like landing.
Miike misses with a body shot.
Miike ducks under a wild hook from Gostos A.
Miike moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Miike fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gostos A looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Miike dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gostos A. That did some damage!
Miike tests Gostos A's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Miike drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Gostos A tries to buck Miike off but Miike is having none of it.

Gostos A throws a body punch but Miike moves out of range.

and Miike counters with a thumping low kick.
Miike ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gostos A throws a series of punches but Miike moves out of range.
Miike has managed to clinch.
Miike connects with a nasty looking knee right to Gostos A's face.
Miike breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gostos A misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Map Gostos A is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miike throws a left that rocks Gostos A and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Miike dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Gostos A regain composure!
It looks like Map Gostos A has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miike has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gostos A!
Gostos A slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Miike works his way into full mount!
Miike controlling the position easily from mount.

Miike throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Miike throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Miike lands a head shot.
Miike lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gostos A looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Miike scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gostos A needs to keep his hands up - Miike had a free shot at his head there.
Miike closes the distance and pushes Gostos A back into the cage.
Miike jumps into guard, dragging Gostos A to the mat.
Miike might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Miike working for a triangle but Gostos A defends it easily.
Miike pushes a forearm under Gostos A's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gostos A is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Takeshi Miike was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
