Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Ridley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bo Ridley!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lee moves into the clinch.
Lee lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ridley backwards.

Ridley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Lee gets the takedown into side control.
Lee works to advance to full mount. Ridley defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ridley's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Bo Ridley has been cut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ridley takes a knee to the side of the body.
Lee pushes Ridley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lee utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dave Lee dominated that round.

That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ridley ducks right into an uppercut from Lee.

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Ridley in a clinch.
Lee lands a knee to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Lee.
Lee is leaning against Ridley and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Ridley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ridley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Lee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ridley is trying to defend but Lee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lee moves nicely into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee cracks Ridley with a big elbow.
Ridley is breathing heavily.
Lee landing a few strikes.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Lee lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ridley down.
Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lee lands some shots froms side control.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Ridley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dave Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ridley has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lee has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ridley is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lee yanks on the arm and Ridley is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lee.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dave Lee!
Dave Lee decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
