Johnson comes to the ring accompanied by Lost in the Echo. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aaron Evans!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a series of punches but Evans avoids them all with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Evans swings widly with a right hand
and Evans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.

Evans sends Johnson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Evans is motioning to the referee to let Johnson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Johnson is rocked!


It looks like Carlos Johnson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Evans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Evans misses with a jab, cross combination.
Evans fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Evans throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Evans waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Evans avoids them all with ease.

Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.
Nice cross by Johnson.

Evans lands a big uppercut and Johnson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Johnson looks OK. Evans waves Johnson back to his feet!
Evans throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans cracks Johnson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Johnson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Evans pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Johnson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Evans!
