The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop checks the leg kick.
Donowitz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bishop swings widly with a right hand
and Donowitz counters with a straight right hand.
Bishop connects with a good right hand that stumbles Donowitz. Donowitz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Donowitz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bishop's sensitive parts.
Bishop fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bishop looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donowitz throws a hook but Bishop avoids it easily.
Donowitz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bishop under the eye.
Bishop's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Donowitz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bishop scrambles back to his feet.
Bishop throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nice uppercut lands for Bishop. That snapped Donowitz's head back.
Donowitz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bishop.

Donowitz throws a hook but Bishop blocks it.

Donowitz misses with a straight left.
Bishop wants to clinch up but Donowitz keeps it at a distance.
Bishop tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Donowitz was well out of range. Poor timing from Bishop.
Donowitz tries to sprawl but Bishop drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bishop uses his free foot to push down on Donowitz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Donowitz.
Donowitz tries to hold on but Bishop postures up.
Bishop breaks from Donowitz's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Donowitz wants to control but Bishop is having none of it.
Bishop looking to isolate an arm here. Donowitz doesn't see it coming and as Bishop extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Bishop!
