The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson misses with a hook.
Coulton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Watson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Watson thows a body shot but no joy.
Watson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coulton manages to avoid it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Coulton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Watson is looking to break free of the clinch but Coulton has double underhooks.
Coulton pulls guard effortlessly.
Watson tries to free his leg and advance position but Coulton is retaining full guard.

Coulton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Watson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Coulton is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Watson, into his guard.
Coulton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
