Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a low kick as Smith jumps back.
Balboa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Smith is able to avoid easily.
Smith throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Balboa on the side of the head.
Smith checks the leg kick nicely there.
Balboa tries a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Balboa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Balboa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith misses with a hook.
Balboa tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Balboa tried to score with a low kick but Smith checks it.
Smith thumps Balboa with a low kick.
Smith cracks Balboa with an open hand slap.
Balboa wants to slow Smith down by chopping away at his legs.
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Balboa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Balboa gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smith.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smith connects with a solid leg kick.
Good work by Smith as he checks the leg kick.
Balboa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Balboa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Smith is out of range and Balboa settles back down.
Smith looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith lands an overhand right.
Balboa misses with a leg kick
and Smith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Balboa's guard now.
Balboa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Smith manages to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, if Smith is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balboa has hold of Smith's hands but Smith slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Smith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Smith is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Balboa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
