Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Philip Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Bland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Philip Finch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bland! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bland swats him away and circles back towards the center. Finch tries to clinch there but Bland circles away.
Finch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bland, pushing him back against the cage. Bland trying to stall but Finch improves his position.
Bland is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Finch is defending well. Bland leaning against his opponent.
Finch lands a body punch in the clinch. Finch tries to score a body lock takedown but Bland shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Finch tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bland wants to take the fight to the mat but Finch manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bland jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Finch walks away with a smile on his face. Bland gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Philip Finch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Bland.
Finch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bland to the mat! Bland manages to get full guard. Bland wants to stand up but Finch is controlling him. Finch trying to control the position from guard on top but Bland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Finch wants to pass the guard but Bland is keeping the position. Finch stays in close to Bland's body and controls the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Finch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Finch trying to control but Bland is working from the bottom.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Philip Finch. Bland scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Finch leaves Bland with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bland pushes Finch up against the cage in a clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Finch throws a head punch that misses. Finch trying to control the position but instead, Bland has worked for underhooks and has pushed Finch into the cage.
Bland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Finch doesn't manage to clinch there - Bland circles away.
Finch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bland quickly recovers to half guard. Bland is looking for a sweep. Finch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bland wants to get back to full guard but Finch has passed into side control. Bland is letting Finch control him for a moment.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bland tries to escape but Finch is in control. Finch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bland keeps working. Bland taking a bit of punishment here - Finch scoring with strikes.
Finch has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bland looks winded! Bland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Finch as he avoids it easily. Finch throws a low kick but Bland moves out of range easily. Finch fails with the takedown. Bland is looking to clinch but Finch is avoiding it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Finch tries to clinch there but Bland circles away.
Finch tries to close the distance and clinch but Bland swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bland keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Finch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bland's waist but Bland gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finch off to one side. Finch fails with the takedown. Bland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finch pinned against the cage. Finch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bland shoots for a double leg takedown but Finch sprawls well. He's pushed Bland's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Philip Finch dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Finch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Finch is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Bland looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bland fails with a takedown attempt. Bland defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Finch. Bland showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Finch.
Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bland paws at him with a jab and circles away.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Bland. No joy for Finch on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philip Finch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Finch throws a wild body kick that Bland sees coming a mile off. Bland pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Finch back to the cage. Bland follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Philip Finch has been cut.
Bland clinches up with Finch and pushes him back against the cage. Finch has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bland avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Finch looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Finch is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bland pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bland breaks from the clinch.
Finch takes a kick to the side of the head. Michael Bland seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bland tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bland lands with a kick to the temple. Finch shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
 That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bland has his takedown stuffed
and Finch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bland won't be happy with that.
Finch stands up. Bland looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Finch is fending him off so far but Bland persists. Nope, Finch circles away and we're back to standing. Bland misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice sprawl there from Bland as Finch shoots in. Bland is looking to clinch.

Bland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Finch moves in looking to clinch but Bland pushes him off. Finch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Finch somewhat. Finch fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bland scores with a leg kick.

Finch wants to break free but Bland has control.
Bland avoids the elbow strike from Finch, against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bland jumps guard but Finch stands there with Bland around his waist. Bland gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Finch has a couple of punches blocked by Bland.
Finch jumps guard and drags Bland to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Finch keeping moving, preventing Bland from controlling successfully. Finch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Finch looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Finch looking for a guillotine here but Bland defends easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Philip Finch will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Philip Finch's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Finch wants to control but Bland is keeping him busy. Bland managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Finch.
Bland is trying to escape the position but Finch is controlling the position. Finch cracks Bland with a big right hand but Bland just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Finch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bland to the mat! Bland manages to get full guard. Finch passes Bland's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Finch with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bland really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Finch decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Bland looks for a takedown but Finch sprawls well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bland fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Finch avoids it really well and circles away. Finch shoots in for a double leg but Bland sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bland looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Philip Finch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Bland. Finch misses with a takedown attempt - Bland sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Finch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bland's waist but Bland gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finch off to one side.
Finch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Finch wants to get up but he can't break Bland's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Finch trying to control but Bland is working from the bottom.
 We're going to have a standup here because Philip Finch wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bland keeps the fight on the outside. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finch pinned against the cage. Finch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Finch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bland swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that's the end of the fight! Philip Finch showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Finch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
