Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between OJ Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aamakualenalena Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Open Air- Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simpson scores with a hook to the body. Robinson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Simpson throws a big shot that misses. Robinson darts in and clinches Simpson up against the cage. Simpson goes for a takedown attempt but Robinson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Simpson is trying to stand back up but Robinson is controlling him
Simpson is staying active underneath Robinson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Robinson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Simpson to get to his feet. Robinson moves out of range of the strikes. Simpson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Robinson momentarily.
Robinson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Simpson to the mat! Simpson manages to get full guard. Robinson advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Simpson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Robinson off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Robinson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Simpson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robinson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Robinson is not content to let Simpson control the position. Simpson tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Robinson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Robinson wants to get back to full guard. Robinson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Simpson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Robinson's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Robinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Simpson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Simpson's back! Simpson holding both Robinson 's hands and preventing any damage. Simpson is breathing heavily. Simpson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Robinson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Simpson controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Robinson looking to break Simpson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Simpson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Robinson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Simpson preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Robinson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson doesn't have the hooks in and Simpson manages to turn into his guard.
Robinson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Robinson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Robinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Simpson's guard. Simpson keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully. Robinson passes Simpson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Robinson trying to control from half guard but Simpson is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
