The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint Laurent fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smalls avoids it really well and circles away.
Saint Laurent is looking to clinch but Smalls is avoiding it.
Smalls attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Smalls thuds his shin into the meat of Saint Laurent's side.

Osiris Smalls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saint Laurent moves in looking to clinch but Smalls pushes him off.
A nice combination there by Smalls.

It looks like Bernard Saint Laurent has been cut.
Smalls connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Saint Laurent drops Smalls with a left right combo! Saint Laurent follows him down to the ground into side control.

Smalls is rocked!

Smalls tries to bench press Saint Laurent off him but Saint Laurent keeps the position.
Saint Laurent scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Smalls is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Saint Laurent can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
