Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Claude VanSevern!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bloodlet Dunne!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunne throws a series of punches but VanSevern moves out of range.
Nice cross by VanSevern.
Dunne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from VanSevern finds it's way round the side to connect with Dunne's head.
Dunne misses with a takedown attempt - VanSevern sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dunne closes this distance looking for a takedown but VanSevern circles away.
VanSevern looking to score a takedown here. Dunne is defending well but VanSevern drives through and ends up in Dunne's guard.
VanSevern got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dunne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, VanSevern has managed to get both his arms back between Dunne's legs - danger averted.
VanSevern throwing strikes from guard but Dunne blocks nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
VanSevern's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
VanSevern stands and throws Dunne's legs to the side, diving into side control.
VanSevern is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dunne will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

VanSevern works to advance to full mount. Dunne defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Dunne is trying to escape the mount.
VanSevern lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
VanSevern lands a big elbow.
VanSevern looking to control but Dunne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
VanSevern controlling from the full mount.
VanSevern unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dunne wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! VanSevern celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
