Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Stone! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away. Rogers with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rogers moves out of range as Stone throws a body kick.
Stone looks to land a body kick but Rogers moved away. Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rogers - the referee stops the clock and Stone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rogers. Stone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Rogers misses the shot to the body. A solid leg kick lands there for Rogers.

Stone throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stone throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Stone throws a right and a left that Rogers avoids nicely. Stone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Chris Stone will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rogers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stone lunges at Rogers with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rogers's hand. Rogers fails to land the takedown. Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rogers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stone tries to keep at a distance but Rogers has taken the fight into the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rogers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rogers looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
