Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Carioca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rob S. - Forever Yong. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Carioca! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick from Carioca lands but Noel takes it in his stride. Noel moves out of range as Carioca strikes. Some wild striking there from Carioca.
Carioca moves into range and clinches up with Noel. Carioca is trying to push Noel away but Noel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Carioca is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Carioca. Carioca breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Noel scores with a shot to the body.
Carioca throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Noel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Carioca manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Carioca seems keen to control Noel's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noel trying to control the position from guard on top but Carioca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carioca really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Noel tries to free his leg and advance position but Carioca is retaining full guard. Carioca trying to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carioca will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Carioca cracks the inside of Noel's front leg. Noel misses with a looping left. Carioca looks for the body kick but Noel saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carioca takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Carioca fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carioca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Noel throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Carioca to counter with a crisp jab. Carioca moves out of range as Noel strikes. Noel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A head kick from Carioca lands but Noel takes it in his stride. This has been an exciting period of action! Noel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carioca. Carioca throws a sloppy head kick and Noel moves out of range easily. Carioca scores with a push kick. Noel misses with a looping left. Carioca moves into range and clinches up with Noel. Noel leaning against his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carioca lands an elbow inside that Noel shrugs off.
Noel is rocked! Carioca breaks the clinch.
Oh Noel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Carioca throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Noel is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carioca is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Noel flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Noel is out cold! Carioca holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
