Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zoey Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kengo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone comes to the cage accompanied by Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone connects with the punch.
Malone scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A big right from Watanabe misses.
Watanabe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Watanabe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watanabe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Watanabe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watanabe can do anything to dispel that myth.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Malone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Malone comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Kengo Watanabe has been cut.

Malone has Watanabe pressed against the cage. He pushes Watanabe back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Malone throws a beautiful elbow that sends Watanabe crashing to the floor! Malone piles on the pressure with more strikes! Watanabe is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zoey Malone!
Zoey Malone looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'You just got jacked!'.
