Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Rosgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Nile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nile's choice of entrance music: Walk Like An Egyptian. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, King Nile!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosgen thumps Nile with a low kick.
Nile throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nile missing with a left hand there. Rosgen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rosgen connects with a right hand. Nile shakes it off.
It looks like King Nile has been cut.
Nile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Greg Rosgen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nile steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rosgen.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nile. Rosgen shrugs it off though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rosgen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rosgen shoots for a takedown but Nile saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nile misses with a head kick.
Rosgen drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rosgen with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rosgen throws a big elbow that misses.
Nile bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rosgen's guard.
Rosgen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Nile content to stall in guard here.

Rosgen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nile gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rosgen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nile.
Nile uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rosgen.
Rosgen throws a low kick but Nile moves out of range easily.
Rosgen tries for a takedown but Nile circles away easily
and Nile counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rosgen takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rosgen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nile has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nile and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A good leg kick by Nile.
Nile cracks Rosgen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rosgen connects with a leg kick. Nile looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rosgen blocks a head kick by Nile.
Rosgen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nile throws a head kick but Rosgen moves out of range.
Rosgen throws a sloppy head kick
letting Nile counter with a right hand.
Nile looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nile throws the kick towards the body but Rosgen avoids it.
Nile works the jab nicely.
Rosgen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rosgen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nile manages to avoid it.
Rosgen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rosgen is breathing heavily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Nile.
That kick from Nile tenderised Rosgen's leg. Rosgen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nile connects with an inside leg kick.
Nile buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nile connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nile with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A head kick misses from Nile.
A jab from Nile does it's job there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nile throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nile's corner calls for a 1-2. Nile obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rosgen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nile.
Nile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rosgen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nile - the referee stops the clock and Rosgen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nile. Rosgen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nile misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rosgen.
Rosgen shoots in for a takedown but Nile shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Rosgen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rosgen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nile misses with a low kick.
Horrible takedown by Rosgen or perhaps it was just good defense by Nile which made him look bad.
Nile throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nile lands a big head kick that sends Rosgen tumbling to the mat! Nile takes a step backwards and waves Rosgen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rosgen is rocked!
Nile scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Oh Rosgen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crack! Nile connects with the perfect overhand right and Rosgen falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Nile!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Nile!
A very excited looking King Nile made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
