Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bennett throws a push kick but Thang slaps the foot to one side.
Bennett lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bennett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thang.
Thang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bennett's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Thang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Thang pushing down on Bennett's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Thang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bennett doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thang.
Thang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bennett is just riding it out for now. Thang eventually gives up the hold.
Thang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Thang has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bennett defend it? Thang steps over the head and cranks it - Bennett is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Thang!
