Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josip Ruzic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Josip Ruzic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ruzic pinned against the cage. Ruzic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rogers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ruzic tries to avoid it but Rogers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ruzic to the ground. Ruzic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rogers tries to clinch there but Ruzic circles away.
Ruzic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ruzic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ruzic moves into full mount! Rogers won't be happy about that! Ruzic controlling from the full mount. Ruzic working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rogers is bucking up trying to escape but Ruzic cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rogers is just holding on here. Ruzic manages to take his back.
Ruzic missing with strikes from the back. Rogers staying busy and making it hard for Ruzic to control. Rogers trying to control the hands but Ruzic breaks the grip. Rogers prevents Ruzic from getting a body triangle. Ruzic has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogers defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Rogers fending off the submission attempt from Ruzic. Rogers trying to control the action but Ruzic just sinks the hooks in. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ruzic struggling to keep hold of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ruzic looking to control but Rogers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ruzic working for a submission but Rogers is keeping him at bay. Rogers tries to buck Ruzic off but he can't manage it. Rogers is working to get back to half guard.
Ruzic goes for an armbar but Rogers turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rogers.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruzic swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ruzic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rogers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rogers content to stall in guard here. Ruzic trying to strike off his back.
Rogers stopping the sweep attempt from Ruzic. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josip Ruzic dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice shot lands for Ruzic. Ruzic fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Rogers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ruzic connects with a body shot. Ruzic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ruzic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rogers sprawls well initially but Ruzic persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ruzic works his way into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogers sneaks back into half guard. Rogers missing with punches from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruzic wants to pass the guard but Rogers is defending well. Ruzic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ruzic looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rogers is in trouble now - Ruzic has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rogers wants to control but Ruzic is having none of it. Ruzic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rogers's face.
Rogers tries to lock up and control but Ruzic gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ruzic looking to ground and pound but Rogers is blocking nicely. Rogers is looking to get to half guard. Rogers looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruzic looking to break Rogers's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rogers remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ruzic will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Rogers wants to escape the position.
Rogers covering up well and avoiding damage. Rogers looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Rogers is breathing heavily. Ruzic has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rogers's body.
Rogers trying to get back to his feet but Ruzic is in full control for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Ruzic. Ruzic is looking for a choke. Rogers gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Rogers manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Ruzic lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rogers! Rogers tries to reverse the position but Ruzic maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josip Ruzic dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Ruzic lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rogers on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ruzic's corner calls for a 1-2. Ruzic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Ruzic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ruzic lands a really nice looking cross but Rogers seems unphased.
Ruzic misses with a wild body shot. Rogers ducks under a wild hook from Ruzic. Ruzic clobbers Rogers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rogers gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ruzic stopping the sweep attempt from Rogers.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruzic gets to his feet - Rogers follows without any prompting. Ruzic scores with a jab. Ruzic moves out of range of the body kick from Rogers.
Steve Rogers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rogers has his takedown stuffed and Ruzic counters with a single leg into guard. Rogers didn't expect that. Rogers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ruzic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ruzic won't allow Rogers to sweep him here. Ruzic is stalling in the full guard. Rogers can't keep his opponent in guard - Ruzic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruzic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rogers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruzic. Ruzic wants to control but Rogers is keeping him busy. Ruzic passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rogers! Ruzic is landing with some decent strikes but Rogers is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruzic lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ruzic moves to take his opponent's back. Rogers won't enjoy being in this position. Ruzic looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Rogers is tapping - it's over boys! Ruzic picks up the submission victory!
