Lehnsherr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is PURE EVIL!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Baller's choice of entrance music: Helicopter, made of meat!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Baller!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lehnsherr defending well as Baller loads up on a big left hand.

Lehnsherr has closed the distance and engaged Baller in a clinch.

Lehnsherr manages to break the clinch.
Baller takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lehnsherr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Erik Lehnsherr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lehnsherr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baller's hands.
Lehnsherr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lehnsherr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Baller moves out of range as Lehnsherr strikes.
Lehnsherr scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Paul Baller has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lehnsherr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Baller counter with a right hand.
Lehnsherr throws the left hand but Baller avoids the punch easily.
Lehnsherr lands a nice hook to Baller's body. Baller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Baller blocks a jab.
Baller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lehnsherr tries to close the distance and clinch but Baller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Baller dodges the punch combination from Lehnsherr.
Lehnsherr scores with a nice right hand.

Lehnsherr closes the distance and pushes Baller back into the cage.
Lehnsherr misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lehnsherr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Baller blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Lehnsherr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lehnsherr works the jab nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lehnsherr throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Lehnsherr lands with a nice body kick.

Lehnsherr feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Baller sprawling to the canvas! Baller rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lehnsherr finish him?!


Baller is rocked!
Lehnsherr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lehnsherr swings for the body but Baller moves out of range.

Lehnsherr feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Baller sprawling to the canvas! Baller rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lehnsherr finish him?!
Baller is still on wobbly legs! Can Lehnsherr finish him?
Nice defenses there by Baller.
Baller seems to have recovered his senses.
Lehnsherr stuffs the takedown.
Lehnsherr waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Baller.
Lehnsherr misses with a looping right.
A swing and a miss from Lehnsherr.
Baller moves away from the strike by Lehnsherr.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lehnsherr lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Lehnsherr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lehnsherr misses with a punch to the body.
Lehnsherr is trying to break the clinch but Baller has him pressed against the cage.
Baller tries to pull guard but Lehnsherr forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Lehnsherr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good shot there by Lehnsherr.


That has opened up Paul Baller's cut even more.
Baller misses with a straight right.
Lehnsherr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baller circles away quickly and effectively.
Lehnsherr moves forwards but Baller connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lehnsherr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lehnsherr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lehnsherr throws a head kick that misses.
A punch lands to the side of Baller 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lehnsherr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Lehnsherr throws a hook but Baller avoids it easily.

Lehnsherr sends Baller crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lehnsherr is motioning to the referee to let Baller up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lehnsherr fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Baller square on the jaw! Damn, Baller is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
