Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bull Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Kaplan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaplan has chosen Of Wolf And Man by Metallica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bull Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Landon Kaplan! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kaplan counters with a nice uppercut. Dog misses with a body shot.
Dog gets a clinch. Dog is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dog blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dog is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kaplan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kaplan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kaplan tries to throw a body punch but Dog avoids it by throwing Kaplan back against the cage. Dog blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A frustrated look appears on Dog's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kaplan misses with a body punch.

Dog is looking to break free of the clinch but Kaplan has double underhooks. Kaplan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog letting Kaplan take a breather here. Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kaplan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dog connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kaplan scrambles back to his feet. Kaplan throws a body punch but Dog moves out of range. Good work by Dog as he checks the leg kick. Dog is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kaplan misses with a wild body shot. Some wild striking there from Dog.
Dog uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kaplan. Dog lands with a cross. Dog throws a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kaplan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kaplan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Dog bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Bull Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaplan throws a chopping leg kick but Dog manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Dog lands with a shot to the body. Dog lands with a hook. Kaplan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dog looks to throw the jab but Kaplan is out of range. Dog lands with a good body shot. Kaplan misses with a body punch
and Dog counters with a stiff right hand. Dog looks to land a combination but Kaplan avoids it well. Kaplan walks into a left hand. Dog takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaplan throws a looping overhand right but Dog ducks down to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Kaplan misses the target. Kaplan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Dog fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kaplan, pushing him back against the cage. Kaplan lands a nice uppercut. Dog's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Donk. Dog catches Kaplan right on the button with a cross. Dog looks to land a combination but Kaplan avoids it well. Dog slips under a jab. Kaplan lands a nice shot to the body.
Dog moves into range and clinches up with Kaplan. Kaplan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Kaplan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaplan moves away. This has been an exciting period of action! Dog dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kaplan misses with a right hand and Dog counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kaplan moves out of range as Dog strikes. Kaplan throws a leg kick that misses. Dog scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kaplan doesn't seem bothered though. Dog throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kaplan on the side of the head. Kaplan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dog manages to avoid it. Dog is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dog wants to clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dog is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Dog dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dog catches Kaplan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kaplan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dog dips to his left and cracks Kaplan with an uppercut! Some wild striking there from Dog.
Dog ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A shot to the liver by Dog. Beautiful body shot. A swing and a miss from Kaplan. Dog misses the shot to the body. Dog misses with a combination
and Dog takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters circle momentarily. Dog darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dog stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kaplan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dog slips a jab from Kaplan. Dog keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dog thows a body shot but no joy. Dog with a jab. Kaplan throws a poor cross that misses
and Dog connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bull Dog is winning the standup battle so far. Dog connects with a jab. A shot to the liver by Dog. Beautiful body shot. Dog lands a jab to Kaplan's midsection. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dog throws a jab but it's blocked by Kaplan. Dog's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kaplan under the eye. Dog scores with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaplan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dog connects with a right hand. Kaplan shakes it off. Kaplan throws a low kick but Dog avoids it. Dog throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kaplan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kaplan has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Dog gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kaplan. Kaplan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dog was well out of range. Poor timing from Kaplan. A slow jab from Dog misses its intended target. Kaplan misses the shot to the body. Dog keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Kaplan counters with a nice uppercut. Dog fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dog paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kaplan throws a head kick but Dog moves out of range.

Dog changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dog connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dog lands with a hook. Kaplan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A big right from Kaplan misses. Dog just misses with a punch to the body.

Dog misses the shot to the body. Dog throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kaplan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kaplan is breathing heavily. Dog has closed the distance and engaged Kaplan in a clinch.
Kaplan swings wildly with an uppercut but Dog uses good head movement to avoid it. Dog's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dog looks to land a combination but Kaplan avoids it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kaplan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dog cracks Kaplan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaplan moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Landon Kaplan has been cut. Kaplan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog cracks Kaplan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kaplan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dog finish him?
Kaplan is rocked! Dog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kaplan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kaplan is still on wobbly legs! Can Dog finish him? Kaplan throws a half hearted mid kick. Dog ducks under a wild hook from Kaplan. Kaplan seems to have recovered his senses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dog catches Kaplan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kaplan throws a body punch but Dog moves out of range. Dog fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dog scores with a jab. Kaplan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kaplan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dog counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dog scores with a nice head shot. Kaplan walks straight into a right hand from Dog - that's dropped him! Dog jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kaplan from any more punishment! Kaplan complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bull Dog! A less than humble Bull Dog misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
