Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luis Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjj Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Luis Barrera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjj Spar!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar throws a front kick that sends Barrera stumbling back into the cage.
Barrera cracks Spar with a right hand to the side of the head.

Spar manages to work his way to half guard, despite Barrera's best efforts.

Barrera is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Spar sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spar is looking to control Barrera's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Spar avoid being mounted?

Spar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barrera is working away from the top position though.

Barrera seems to be working for a kimura but Spar defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

A close round but Bjj Spar will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Barrera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Spar.
Spar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Barrera.
Barrera pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spar is out of range and Barrera settles back down.
Barrera swings for the body but Spar moves out of range.

Spar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barrera checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Barrera pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spar is out of range and Barrera settles back down.

Spar feints and as Barrera raises his hands in defense, Spar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Barrera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spar manages to avoid it.
Spar closes the distance and clinches up with Barrera, looking for a takedown. Spar pushes Barrera against the cage but Barrera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
