Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopo comes to the cage accompanied by Gers Pardoel - Ik Neem Je Mee . Mir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spoilin For A Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Hessu Hopo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Mir! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir takes one on the button.
It looks like Frank Mir has been cut. Mir shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hopo defends it nicely. Mir is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopo. Hopo tries to clinch up but Mir circles away and keeps his distance. Nice body punch from Mir. Mir throws a body punch but Hopo moves out of range. Hopo misses with a body shot.
Hopo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hopo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hopo. Mir is trying to control the position but Hopo postures up. Mir looking for a guillotine here but Hopo defends easily.
Hopo works over Mir with some ground and pound from guard. Mir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hopo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hopo looking to pass the guard. Mir has his foot on Hopo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hopo works his way back into a safe position though. Hopo is sitting in close to Mir's body. Mir has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hopo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hopo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mir.
