Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trinidad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sau Minneo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into the arena with Nelly - Here Comes the Boom blaring out of the sound system. Minneo has chosen PowerTrip by Monster Magnet as his entrance music. Sau Minneo has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minneo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson lands a slapping body shot.
Jackson digs a good hook to Minneo's body.
Minneo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jackson finds it's way round the side to connect with Minneo's head.
Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Minneo is defended easily by Jackson.

Minneo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Minneo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Minneo wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.

Minneo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Minneo, into his guard.

Minneo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Minneo is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Minneo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Minneo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Minneo's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Minneo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jackson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Minneo but great work by Jackson.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Minneo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Minneo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jackson is looking to pass Minneo's guard but actually Minneo recovers to full guard.
Jackson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Sau Minneo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
