Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Malaipet Sasiprapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasiprapa's entrance music is Malaipet the Diamond. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Johns's choice of entrance music: Welcome to the jungle. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Junior Johns enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Malaipet Sasiprapa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Johns! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sasiprapa checks the leg kick nicely there.
A low kick from Johns is predictable there and Sasiprapa counters with a nice body kick. Johns shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sasiprapa is trying to defend but Johns finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Johns is keen to just control but Sasiprapa is a slippery customer. Sasiprapa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sasiprapa trying to hold on to Johns's head to control him but Johns postures up.
Johns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Johns tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sasiprapa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sasiprapa trying to control but Johns postures up.
Johns not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sasiprapa regains full guard. Nicely done. Johns controlling from the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johns drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sasiprapa dives on top into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johns had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sasiprapa defends it easily. Sasiprapa trying to control the position from guard on top but Johns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johns has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sasiprapa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johns has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sasiprapa has managed to get both his arms back between Johns's legs - danger averted. Johns looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sasiprapa preventing the sweep. Johns pushes a forearm under Sasiprapa's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Sasiprapa is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
