Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Alleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Lachance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alleman comes to the cage accompanied by Battery. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hunter Alleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Lachance! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alleman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lachance paws at him with a jab and circles away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lachance. Lachance remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Alleman is trying to improve his position. Lachance is looking to take a break and control but Alleman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Alleman is looking for a sweep. Lachance lands a decent elbow from side control. Lachance working the ground and pound. Alleman is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alleman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lachance decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alleman. Lachance shoots in for a double leg but Alleman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lachance shoots for a double leg takedown but Alleman sprawls well. He's pushed Lachance's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lachance scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lachance tries to stand but can't do so whilst Alleman controls his leg. Lachance is trying to control the action in half guard but Alleman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lachance is controlling the pace.
Lachance is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Alleman kicks Lachance off and gets back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alleman shoots for a takedown but Lachance saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alleman tries for a takedown but Lachance circles away easily letting Lachance counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Alleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lachance shoots in for a takedown but Alleman shows good takedown defense. Alleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alleman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lachance napping and manages to drive through into side control! Alleman throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Lachance works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alleman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alleman stalling away here and it's allowed Lachance to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Lachance dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Alleman fails with the takedown and Lachance decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Alleman's guard. Alleman is looking to sweep but instead, Lachance has passed into half guard.
Alleman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lachance thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lachance lands with a punch from half guard. Alleman looking for submissions off his back. Alleman strikes from the bottom but Lachance uses the opportunity to move to side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lachance wants to control for a moment but Alleman uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alleman trying to control but Lachance postures up.
Lachance postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Alleman to stand up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Lachance clinches. Alleman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lachance prevents it.

Alleman gets the takedown into side control. Lachance is trying to control Alleman's posture but Alleman avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alleman throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Lachance works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Lachance won't allow Alleman to pass to mount. Lachance makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lachance. Alleman wants to pass the guard but Lachance is keeping the position. Alleman looking to sit in guard and control but Lachance gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lachance throwing strikes but missing. Alleman keeping full guard, as Lachance tries to pass. Lachance wants to control from the top but Alleman keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alleman is on top in guard.
Alleman throws a big elbow that misses. Lachance looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alleman wants to pass the guard but Lachance is keeping the position. Lachance utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lachance wants to stand and escape but Alleman is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alleman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lachance wants to stand up but Alleman is controlling him. Alleman trying to control but Lachance is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Lachance showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Alleman closes the distance and clinches up with Lachance, looking for a takedown. Alleman pushes Lachance against the cage but Lachance circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lachance tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alleman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lachance somewhat. Lachance misses with a double jab
and Alleman counters with a single leg into guard. Lachance didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Lachance is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alleman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Alleman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lachance works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Alleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lachance swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alleman trying to control but Lachance is working from the bottom. Lachance is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Alleman has gone for a leg lock! Lachance slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alleman's guard. Hunter Alleman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alleman striking off his back but it's not causing Lachance any problems. Lachance won't allow Alleman to sweep him here. Alleman working for a triangle but Lachance defends it easily.
Alleman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
John Lachance is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lachance stands up and waves to Alleman to follow him. Alleman has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Alleman with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Alleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alleman dives in and grabs Lachance's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lachance pushes down on Alleman's head and hops out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lachance closes the distance and clinches. Alleman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lachance is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Alleman is looking to take this one to the mat. Lachance lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Alleman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lachance prevents it.
Alleman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alleman goes for a takedown attempt but Lachance pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lachance defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alleman.
And that's the end of the fight! Hunter Alleman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lachance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
