Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Manley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jon Manley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jon Manley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Young! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manley gets a clinch. Young is trying to break free. Young pulls Manley into guard.
Young is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Manley is controlling him. Young is trying to control the position but Manley postures up. Manley wants to get up but he can't break Young's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Manley trying to control but Young is working from the bottom. Manley preventing the sweep. Young looking to control but Manley passes into half guard.
Manley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Manley dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young sprawls well initially but Manley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Young does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Manley passes into side control, despite Young's attempt to control the position.

Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Young. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Manley wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Manley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Manley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Manley manages to end up in side control. Jeff Young has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Manley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Manley avoids the strikes from the bottom by Young.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Manley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Manley , winning every round. Will the judges agree?
