Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Ferguson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Worner! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worner lands a jab to Ferguson's midsection. Ferguson throws a shot from downtown. Worner moves away and avoids it. Worner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferguson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ferguson fails to land the takedown. Ferguson fails with a takedown attempt. Ferguson shoots in looking for a takedown. Worner tries to sprawl out of it but Ferguson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Worner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaiah Ferguson. That's going to take a lot out of him. No joy there for Ferguson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ferguson dives in and grabs Worner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Worner pushes down on Ferguson's head and hops out. Good work by Ferguson as he checks the leg kick. Ferguson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Worner counters with a head kick. That will keep Ferguson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Worner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson decides to pull guard. Ferguson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Worner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Worner controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Worner wants to stand but Ferguson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Worner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Worner trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferguson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Worner is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Austin Worner wasn't active enough on the ground. Ferguson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Worner stalks Ferguson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ferguson's face. Ferguson staggers backwards, shaken. Ferguson darts in trying to clinch and Worner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Worner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ferguson napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ferguson tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worner wants to control but Ferguson is keeping him busy. Ferguson is being controlled here. Worner decides to take the fight back to the feet. Worner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ferguson shoots in for a double leg but Worner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Worner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Worner moves into the clinch. Ferguson goes for a takedown attempt but Worner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Worner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Worner showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ferguson is looking to improve his position.
Worner works his way into side control. Ferguson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Worner controls the action. Worner gets his hands free as Ferguson looks to control. Ferguson holding both Worner 's hands and preventing any damage. Worner has the hooks in. Ferguson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Ferguson is breathing heavily. What can Ferguson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Worner is trying to stick to Ferguson's back but Ferguson is turning into Worner. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Worner's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ferguson.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Worner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Worner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Worner lands a big shot there that rocks Ferguson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. Worner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ferguson is looking to escape. Ferguson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Worner working for a submission but Ferguson is keeping him at bay. Ferguson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Ferguson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Worner advances position into side control! Check out the look on Worner's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Worner is looking to take a break and control but Ferguson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ferguson is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ferguson has a hand on Worner's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Worner takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Worner controlling the position easily from mount. Ferguson tries to improve his position but instead Worner has taken his back! Worner has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Ferguson's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Worner is not going to allow Ferguson to sit and survive in this position. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Worner misses with a takedown attempt - Ferguson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Worner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Worner pulls Ferguson into guard.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Worner keeping moving, preventing Ferguson from controlling successfully. Ferguson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Worner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ferguson throws a head kick that misses. Worner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Worner blocks a head kick by Ferguson.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Worner gets back to full guard.
Worner wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Ferguson prevents Worner from getting back to his feet. Ferguson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ferguson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Worner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
