Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uncomfortably Numb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roth comes to the cage accompanied by Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Roth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uncomfortably Numb!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Numb quickly recovers to half guard.
Numb tries to roll over but Roth keeps him under control.
Numb taking some punishment here, with Roth in his half guard.
Numb keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Numb trying to hold on to Roth's head to control him but Roth postures up.
Roth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Numb with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Numb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roth is working away from the top position though.

Numb wants to control but Roth is having none of it.

Numb is trying desperately to improve position.

Numb misses with a takedown

so Roth counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Numb is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Numb moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Roth has worked his arm free - good work by Roth!

Numb is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roth is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Numb throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Numb looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Roth is avoiding damage well.
Numb tries to score with some ground and pound. Roth controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Roth is looking for a sweep.

Numb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roth keeps working.
Numb creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Roth sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Numb is trying to control the action in half guard but Roth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Numb is looking to take a break and control but Roth is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Numb is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roth doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Numb.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Numb bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roth's guard.
Numb wants to control from the top but Roth keeps moving.
Roth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Uncomfortably Numb has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Nice takedown defense from Roth. No joy for Numb on that attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Numb fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roth.
Numb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Roth.
I think Roth has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
