Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldsmith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oak.
Oak shoots for a takedown but Goldsmith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Goldsmith tries to clinch but Oak moves out of range.
Oak fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Oak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goldsmith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Oak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Oak postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Goldsmith is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oak, into his guard.
Oak wants to stand but Goldsmith is controlling the position.
Oak is looking for a triangle but Goldsmith pushes his legs off easily.
Oak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Goldsmith is aware though and is defending well.

Goldsmith passes easily into side control. Nice work.
