The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson tries to bum rush Dela Cruz with a series of wild strikes but Dela Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Davidson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dela Cruz backs up against the cage.
Davidson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dela Cruz circles away quickly and effectively.
Dela Cruz fails to land with a series of punches.
Dela Cruz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dela Cruz is looking to clinch but Davidson is avoiding it.
A head kick misses from Davidson.
Davidson drops Dela Cruz with a beautiful combination! Dela Cruz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Davidson is looking for the KO!

Oh Dela Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dela Cruz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davidson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Dela Cruz up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Davidson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Dela Cruz's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
