The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia clobbers Hughes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hughes throws a lazy right hand but Garcia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hughes has managed to clinch.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hughes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Garcia is proving hard to escape from.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Garcia here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
