I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Guerreiro by Curumin. Chelios has chosen In Waves as his entrance music. Chev Chelios has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Guilherme Alves's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chelios throws a hook but Alves blocks it.
Alves throws a head kick but Chelios moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Chelios blocks the low kick.
Alves is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chelios.
Nice body kick from Chelios.
Chelios misses the shot to the body.
Alves throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chelios lands a left and a right that send Alves crashing to the mat, dazed. Chelios thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alves is rocked!
It looks like Guilherme Alves has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Alves limp body while Chelios jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chev Chelios!
An intense looking Chev Chelios took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I have a lose on my record that i want to avenge so Super Hans if your champ or not a want a rematch and i can prove your win was a fluke.'.
