Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Augostino Peitexeira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nikita Olavski! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peitexeira has taken the fight to the clinch.
Peitexeira misses with a short punch on the inside. Olavski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Augostino Peitexeira has been cut. Olavski blocks an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Peitexeira scores with a nice short uppercut. Olavski lands an elbow just above Peitexeira 's eye. Olavski blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Olavski is trying to drag Peitexeira to the mat but Peitexeira just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Peitexeira is pressed up against the cage. Olavski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peitexeira down to the mat. Peitexeira avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Olavski shoots in looking for a takedown but Peitexeira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Olavski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Augostino Peitexeira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikita Olavski. Nice sprawl there from Peitexeira as Olavski shoots in. Peitexeira misses with a combination
and Olavski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Olavski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Peitexeira regains guard immediately. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Olavski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olavski pushes down on Peitexeira's leg and manages to get into half guard. Olavski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Peitexeira's head. Olavski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Peitexeira keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Olavski uses his free foot to push down on Peitexeira's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Peitexeira.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olavski wants to control the pace but Peitexeira is squirming around nicely. Olavski is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Olavski extends the arm and Peitexeira is forced to tap!
